Chandigarh University Student Mannat Mahajan Wins Gold in Creative Choreography at AIU North Zone Youth Festival.

Chandigarh University added another feather to its cap as Mannat Mahajan native of Mandi, a student of MCA (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning), won the Gold Medal in Creative Choreography at the 39th AIU Inter-University North Zone Youth Festival (UNIFEST) 2025–26. Her outstanding performance played a significant role in Chandigarh University emerging as the Overall Champion at the prestigious inter-university cultural event.
The AIU Inter-University North Zone Youth Festival, organised under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), witnessed participation from leading universities across the northern region of the country. The event provided a vibrant platform for young artists to showcase their creativity, cultural expression and artistic excellence.
Mannat Mahajan impressed the judges with her powerful performance in the Creative Choreography category, demonstrating exceptional skill, expression and originality. Her gold medal win stood out as one of the highlights of the festival and contributed substantially to Chandigarh University’s overall championship title.

Sharing her thoughts after the achievement, Mannat said that success often appears effortless to others, but behind it lies immense sacrifice and perseverance. She reflected on the long periods she spent away from her parents while pursuing her dreams and credited her achievement to the blessings of her parents, the constant guidance of her teachers and the grace of Mata Rani.
