Stressing that the safety, convenience, and well-being of candidates must remain the top priority, Pradhan called for coordinated efforts by district authorities and institutions hosting the examination.<\/p>\n<p>In his communication to the states and UTs, the Education Minister requested that all schools, colleges, universities, and examination centres be properly equipped with basic amenities to help candidates cope with the extreme weather conditions. These facilities include safe drinking water, adequate seating arrangements, functional fans and coolers, clean washrooms, shaded waiting areas, uninterrupted electricity supply, and portable toilets wherever necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The minister emphasized that many students travel long distances to appear for competitive examinations and therefore require a supportive and secure environment at examination centres. He also directed authorities to ensure proper transportation facilities on the examination day so that candidates can reach their centres without difficulty.<\/p>\n<p>Pradhan stated that state governments have a crucial role in maintaining a fair and smooth examination process and expressed confidence that all administrations would extend full support for the successful conduct of the re-examination. He reiterated that transparency and fairness in national-level entrance examinations are essential to maintaining the trust of students and parents.<\/p>\n<p>The NEET (UG) examination is one of the largest entrance tests in the country and serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate medical courses in government and private institutions across India. With lakhs of students expected to appear for the re-examination, authorities are focusing on logistical preparedness and candidate welfare.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said the Centre is working closely with state administrations to ensure seamless coordination, proper security arrangements, and uninterrupted conduct of the examination process.
