They belongs to Congress party.<\/p>\n<p>Seventy-six-year-old Prakash Retka secured victory as the Pradhan of Samoli Panchayat for the seventh time, reaffirming his enduring popularity and strong connection with the people. His remarkable achievement reflects decades of public service and leadership in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the family&#8217;s success, his son Surender Raitka won the election from the Seema Rantari Ward, securing his third consecutive term as a District Council (Zila Parishad) member. Surender has previously served as the Vice-Chairman of the Shimla Zila Parishad and is considered a prominent local leader.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous election, Surender contested from the Adhal Ward. However, due to the ward being reserved this time, he shifted his candidature to Seema Rantari Ward and emerged victorious once again, maintaining his winning streak.<\/p>\n<p>The simultaneous victories of both father and son have generated a festive atmosphere among their family members, supporters, and local residents. Their residence witnessed a steady stream of well-wishers who gathered to congratulate them on their electoral success.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing gratitude after the results were announced, both leaders thanked the voters for placing their trust in them.
