The State-Level Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur in Mandi district under the joint aegis of the Rajput Sabha Mandi and the Rajput Mahasabha Himachal Pradesh. The event witnessed the participation of representatives from various social, religious, and cultural organizations, along with distinguished guests and community members from different districts of the state.<\/p>\n

The celebration paid tribute to the legendary Rajput ruler Maharana Pratap, whose life continues to inspire generations with ideals of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, self-respect, and unwavering commitment to the nation.<\/p>\n

Chief Guest Highlights Importance of Moral and Cultural Values<\/h4>\n

The chief guest on the occasion was Bachan Singh Rana, National Coordinator of the Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha. Addressing the gathering, he recalled the timeless values exemplified by Maharana Pratap, including nationalism, dignity, honesty, loyalty, bravery, sacrifice, and honor.<\/p>\n

He expressed concern over the gradual erosion of these values in contemporary society and emphasized that when a society drifts away from its moral and cultural foundations, the consequences are reflected in both its social and economic structures.<\/p>\n

Warm Welcome to Guests and Participants<\/h4>\n

Earlier, Dr. Amar Singh Guleria, President of Rajput Sabha Mandi, delivered the welcome address and extended a warm reception to all guests, delegates, and participants. He thanked everyone who contributed to making the event a success and highlighted the importance of preserving the legacy of great historical figures like Maharana Pratap.<\/p>\n

Call for Social Unity and Responsible Leadership<\/h4>\n

Professor Ashok Saryal, Senior Vice President of the Sabha and former Vice-Chancellor of the Agricultural University Palampur, expressed special gratitude to representatives of both NSUI and ABVP for their participation in the event.<\/p>\n

In his address, he called upon the youth and society at large to unite in addressing critical issues facing Himachal Pradesh, including rising unemployment, increasing public debt, and other matters of public concern. He emphasized the need for experienced, honest, and respected individuals to take leadership roles in shaping policies and laws that promote public welfare and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Youth Encouraged to Follow Maharana Pratap\u2019s Ideals<\/h4>\n

Major General Dharamvir Singh Rana, Chairman of the Ex-Servicemen Wing of the Rajput Mahasabha and former Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, urged young people to draw inspiration from Maharana Pratap\u2019s valor, courage, patriotism, and dedication to duty.<\/p>\n

He encouraged the younger generation to actively participate in social development and contribute positively to nation-building by embracing the values demonstrated by the great warrior king.<\/p>\n
