United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer paid tribute to the National Health Service (NHS) and its workforce on the occasion of its 78th anniversary, describing the creation of the NHS as a landmark moment that transformed the lives of millions of people across the country.<\/p>\n

In a statement marking the anniversary, Starmer reflected on the profound impact the NHS has had since its establishment in 1948, saying it has remained a cornerstone of British society by providing healthcare and support to generations of families.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister also shared a personal note, stating that, like countless families across the United Kingdom, his own family had benefited from the care and services provided by the NHS.
