The meeting brought together senior Tibetan leaders, including the Home Minister of the Tibetan government-in-exile, Members of Parliament, Welfare Officers, office-bearers of the organization, and around 60 delegates from different countries.<\/p>\n<p>The organization, which operates in 25 countries, works on issues concerning the Tibetan community, with a focus on education, healthcare, social welfare, and the preservation of Tibetan culture and heritage. The annual meeting serves as a platform to review ongoing initiatives and discuss strategies for addressing emerging challenges faced by Tibetan communities across the world.<\/p>\n<p>During the deliberations, delegates held detailed discussions on a range of contemporary issues affecting Tibetans. Participants also expressed concerns over developments in Tibetan regions and what they described as Chinese encroachment in Tibet. They emphasized the importance of raising international awareness about Tibetan issues and promoting peaceful efforts through global cooperation and dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also featured discussions on the religious and cultural significance of Western Tibet, Mount Kailash, traditional prayer flags, and the need to preserve the region\u2019s rich spiritual heritage for future generations.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Ravi Thakur congratulated the organizers for hosting the international meeting and said such forums play an important role in promoting humanitarian values, preserving cultural traditions, and strengthening dialogue and cooperation among diverse communities.
