The programme will be held at Dali, situated around three kilometres from Sarkaghat on the Sarkaghat-Jahu road. The venue has a spacious ground, providing adequate parking facilities and sufficient space for the smooth conduct of the celebrations.<\/p>\n<p>The highlight of the programme will be the unfurling of the National Flag, which will mark the beginning of the celebrations. The gathering has been aptly named \u201cMilan\u201d, symbolising the coming together of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their families in the spirit of unity and mutual respect.<\/p>\n<p>Capt. Jagdish Verma (Retd), Chairman of the organisation, said that this year&#8217;s celebration would focus on fostering brotherhood, oneness and solidarity among veterans, who dedicated the prime years of their lives to the service and protection of the motherland.<\/p>\n<p>He said that such gatherings provide an important platform for ex-servicemen to meet old comrades, strengthen their bonds and share their experiences. The event is also intended to underline the continuing spirit of service and fellowship among members of the veteran community.<\/p>\n<p>The programme will be organised by the ESM Unit Sarkaghat under the leadership of Capt. Ashok Kumar, who has appealed to all ex-servicemen and Veer Naris living in and around Sarkaghat to participate in large numbers and make the \u201cMilan\u201d programme a grand success.<\/p>\n<p>Following the flag-unfurling ceremony and other proceedings, the gathering will culminate in a community lunch, providing an opportunity for veterans and their families to spend time together in a warm and cordial atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>The organisers expressed the hope that the participation of a large number of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris would make the occasion memorable and further strengthen the bonds of unity among the veteran community of Sarkaghat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ex-Servicemen of Sarkaghat to Unfurl National Flag at Dali on 79th Independence Day. &nbsp;
