One of the victims reportedly sustained serious head injuries and is currently on a ventilator at a hospital.<\/p>\n<p>According to the NHRC, the incident was reported by the media on August 14, 2026. The report stated that the two men were allegedly assaulted by two persons following a dispute over a minor issue.<\/p>\n<p>Taking note of the reported incident, the Commission observed that, if the allegations contained in the media report are found to be true, they raise serious issues concerning the violation of human rights.<\/p>\n<p>The NHRC has therefore issued a notice to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, seeking a detailed report on the incident within two weeks.
