Tapan Industries Mandi has unveiled the Citro\u00ebn “Basalt,” India’s first mainstream SUV coupe, at their showroom in Mandi district today. At the launch event, Tapan Industries’ Chief Operation Officer, Sushant Goyal, welcomed the chief guest, SDM Balh Vishal Sharma, and other dignitaries. Goyal highlighted that the Citro\u00ebn Basalt features modern amenities and driving pleasure while placing significant emphasis on safety.<\/p>\n

The Basalt boasts a contemporary, distinctive SUV design that offers unparalleled comfort, cutting-edge technology, safety, and exceptional value\u2014hallmarks of the Citro\u00ebn brand. It comes with engine options including a 1.2-liter Gen 3 PureTech 110 turbo and a PureTech 82 naturally aspirated engine, paired with either a 6-speed torque converter automatic or 5 and 6-speed manual transmissions.<\/p>\n

The Basalt is available in five attractive monotone colors, two dual-tone body colors, and over 70 accessories. The starting price of the vehicle is set at Rs. 7.99 lakh.
