He said the party\u2019s election manifesto and guarantees were placed before the House, yet the government was unwilling to acknowledge its promise.<\/p>\n<p>Jamwal said educated youth across Himachal were seeking dignified employment, while the government was discussing cannabis cultivation and lotteries as possible economic activities. He termed the promotion of cannabis cultivation particularly unfortunate amid concerns over increasing drug abuse among youngsters.<\/p>\n<p>He also questioned the proposal to recruit teachers for around 150 CBSE-affiliated schools on five-year contracts with fixed salaries of approximately Rs. 30,000, asking what would happen to them after the contract period.<\/p>\n<p>Jamwal stressed that employment opportunities should be expanded through industry, tourism, startups and self-employment.
