He said the decision had adversely affected police services and public safety in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Gandhi highlighted Rewalsar\u2019s religious, cultural and tourism significance, saying the area attracts a large number of devotees and tourists throughout the year. He maintained that the presence of a dedicated police station was essential for maintaining law and order and providing timely assistance to residents and visitors.<\/p>\n<p>He also pointed to concerns over rising crime and drug-related activities, arguing that restoration of the police station would strengthen policing and help address such issues effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe safety of the people cannot be compromised,\u201d Gandhi said, adding that restoring the Rewalsar police station was a public demand and not merely a political issue.<\/p>\n<p>The MLA also criticised some local Congress leaders, alleging that they were more focused on political statements than addressing development and public-interest concerns in Balh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MLA Inder Singh Gandhi Demands Restoration of Rewalsar Police Station in Mandi. &nbsp;
