Teachers\u2019 Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth at DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi, on Saturday to mark the birth anniversary of renowned educationist, philosopher and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.<\/p>\n

Organised by the school\u2019s Student Council, the programme began with students expressing their gratitude and respect for their teachers. A colourful cultural programme followed, featuring melodious musical performances, dances and engaging short plays that created a vibrant atmosphere on the school campus.<\/p>\n

Adding a special touch to the celebrations, senior students took on the roles of teachers and confidently conducted classes, giving them an opportunity to experience the responsibilities and challenges associated with teaching. Teachers also participated enthusiastically in a range of fun and interactive games organised by the students.<\/p>\n

The celebrations concluded with an inspiring address by the school Principal KS Guleria, who appreciated the dedication of the teaching staff and commended the students for organising the event with creativity and sincerity.<\/p>\n

During his address, the Principal shared an insightful anecdote and encouraged students to choose good company, emphasising that positive associations play an important role in shaping both personal character and academic growth.<\/p>\n
