The struggle of farmers in India is continue going on against the central government to get guaranteed prices for their crops. They have been demanding from the government to fix fair MSP (Minimum Support Price) for their crops to\u00a0 protect them from financial losses in case of bumper crops and save from middlemen during market glut, who purchase their crops at very low\u00a0cost.<\/div>\n

In 2020-21, the central government had introduced three farm bills claiming that these bills will protect the farmers from middlemen and provide them fair prices. But farmers resented the move of central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and finally that bills were withdrawn by the government. Since then farmers unions were demanding from the central government to fix fair MSP for their crops and waive off their debts.<\/div>\n

For the last two days, farmers were trying to enter national capital Delhi to lead a massive protest march against the central government regarding their long pending demands. These demands were fair MSP for their crops, pensions, waive\u00a0 off their debts and provision of punishment for those who sell fake seeds, pesticides and fertilisers.<\/div>\n

Thousands of farmers are marching towards Delhi while authorities have turned India’s capital into a fortress, barricading it with razor wire and concrete blocks to try to keep demonstrators at bay.<\/div>\n

Clashes were occurred between farmers and security forces in border areas of Haryana yesterday, where farmers pelted stones on security forces, while security forces used tear gas and rubber bullets\u00a0 on farmers to disperse the mob.<\/div>\n

Situation is continue tense in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi as farmers agitation is going on. Transportation services have been affected on several routes leading to Delhi because of this ongoing protest.<\/div>\n
