CM Releases Rs 15.75 Crore for Development Works in Rohru and Rampur, Rs 4 Crore for New School Buildings.<\/h1>\n

Rs 4 crore allocated for new school buildings at Rachauli and Kasha-Pat; funds also released for bridges, roads and other public infrastructure.<\/h2>\n

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has fulfilled commitments made to students and local residents during the \u2018Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar\u2019 programme by releasing Rs 15.75 crore for various development works in Bhatwari of Rohru Assembly constituency in Shimla district and Kasha-Pat of Rampur Assembly constituency.<\/p>\n

Of the total amount, Rs 4 crore has been released for the construction of new school buildings at Rachauli and Kasha-Pat, fulfilling the commitments made by the Chief Minister to improve educational infrastructure and provide better learning facilities to students.<\/p>\n

During his interaction with students at Rampur School, a student had requested Rs 2 crore for the construction of a new building for Government Senior Secondary School, Rachauli. Responding to the request, the Chief Minister had announced the allocation, which has now been approved by the Planning Department.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Rs 2 crore has been released for the construction of a new building for Kasha-Pat School. The release of these funds is expected to facilitate the development of improved educational facilities and provide students with a better learning environment.<\/p>\n

Rs 15.75 Crore Released for Nine Development Works<\/h4>\n

During his visits to Bhatwari and Kasha-Pat, the Chief Minister had listened to the demands and concerns of local residents and assured them of timely action. In fulfilment of these assurances, Rs 15.75 crore has now been released for nine development works announced in response to public demands.<\/p>\n

The sanctioned funds will be utilised for improving essential infrastructure, including roads, bridges, footbridges, crash barriers and other public facilities. The initiative aims to address local infrastructure requirements and improve connectivity and public safety in the region.<\/p>\n

In the Tanganu-Janglik Panchayat area of Rohru Assembly constituency, Rs 4 crore has been released for the construction of a bridge over Sundru Khad following a demand raised by local residents. Additionally, Rs 1 crore has been released for the construction of Barshil Bridge, while Rs 25 lakh has been allocated for a footbridge at Shishara.<\/p>\n

A further Rs 50 lakh has been released for the construction of an Ambedkar Bhawan in Rohru. The Planning Department has forwarded the sanction letter to the Public Works Department for the necessary action.<\/p>\n

Road Safety and Connectivity to Receive a Boost<\/h4>\n

In Kasha-Pat of Rampur Assembly constituency, Rs 2 crore has been released for installing crash barriers along the Dhandol-to-Kasha-Pat stretch. The allocation addresses a demand raised by local residents and is aimed at improving road safety.<\/p>\n

Another Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned for the improvement of the Jabal-Khabal road and the installation of crash barriers along the route. These works are expected to strengthen road infrastructure and improve safety for commuters.<\/p>\n

The release of funds for these projects reflects the government’s focus on addressing infrastructure gaps and ensuring that development commitments made during public interactions are translated into action.<\/p>\n

\u2018Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar\u2019 Strengthens Public Grievance Redressal<\/h4>\n

The \u2018Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar\u2019 programme is emerging as an effective platform for addressing public grievances and delivering solutions at people’s doorsteps. Beyond providing an opportunity for direct interaction between the government and residents, the initiative seeks to ensure that local concerns are heard and addressed through concrete administrative action.<\/p>\n

From students to senior citizens, the programme provides people with an opportunity to raise their demands and seek solutions to issues affecting their communities. The release of funds for the announced projects demonstrates the government’s efforts to follow up on commitments made during these interactions.<\/p>\n

Under the people-centric governance approach of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the government is emphasising timely action on public demands, with the concerned departments receiving the necessary financial allocations to take development works forward.<\/p>\n
