The event honored athletes, coaches, and support staff for their exceptional performances.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mandaviya lauded the athletes for their inspiring feats and resilience, stating, \u201cI am thrilled to meet the six debutant Paralympians today. Special congratulations to Deepthi on her medal in her first Paralympics. To all, I extend my best wishes for future events. Remember, participation and overcoming challenges are what truly define success. You inspire millions of young Indians.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Among the athletes recognized was Deepthi Jeevanji, who earned a bronze in the Women\u2019s 400m T20 category on her Paralympic debut. Also celebrated were debutants Ravi Rongali (Men\u2019s Shotput F40), Rakshita Raju (Women\u2019s 1500m T11), Kanchan Lakhani (Women\u2019s Discus Throw F53), Sakshi Kasana (Women\u2019s Discus Throw F55), and Manu (Men\u2019s Shotput F37), alongside their coaches and support staff.<\/p>\n<p>Deepthi, identified by SAI coach N Ramesh in Hyderabad, has rapidly ascended in the para-athletics world since 2019. As a Khelo India athlete and now a TOPS athlete, her accolades include gold medals at the Asian Para Games and the 2024 World Championships, where she set a new world record. She also secured two medals at the 2020 Khelo India Youth Games.<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on her success, Deepthi remarked, \u201cWinning this bronze medal makes me proud.
