To ensure timely completion, he revealed an additional allocation of Rs 85 crore as a &#8216;sovereign guarantee,&#8217; complementing the Rs 100 crore already approved in March.<\/p>\n<p>During his visit, Sukhu emphasized that funding shortages would not impede progress. He noted the project&#8217;s costs had escalated due to ongoing work over the past few years, but the state government is committed to expediting construction.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of the hydel sector for revenue generation, stating that the project, once commissioned, would significantly boost the state\u2019s income. Tata Power Limited has been assigned to oversee quality control during construction.<\/p>\n<p>Sukhu outlined the government\u2019s broader goal of transforming Himachal Pradesh into a green energy state by 2026, aiming to harness renewable resources such as hydro power, solar energy, and green hydrogen on a large scale.
