It was alleged that said accused demanded\u00a0 a bribe of\u00a0 Rs. 15,000\/-\u00a0 from the complainant for activation of suspended GSTIN of a firm of his wife. Bribe amount was later reduced to Rs. 10,000.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.10,000&#8221; said a CBI officer.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;Searches were conducted at the premises of accused at Rudrapur in Uttrakhand and Ambala in Haryana.\u00a0 Searches led to\u00a0 recovery of documents etc. of two lockers, bank accounts and certain\u00a0 incriminating documents&#8221; he added.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0He said that investigation is continuing in this case.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CBI arrests a Central Goods and Service Tax Superintendent for accepting a bribe of Rs. 10000 in Uttrakhand.
