 <\/p>\n

A three-month weaving skill development training program for 30 weavers was launched today under the Weavers Enterprise Development Program, with financial assistance from the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). The program was inaugurated by P.L. Negi, General Manager of the District Industry Center, Kullu, at the Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society.<\/p>\n

Vinay Singh, In-charge of the Kullu Weavers Service Center, was the distinguished guest at the event. The program was attended by various dignitaries, including the Society President and former Minister, Satya Prakash Thakur, who welcomed the chief guest and the distinguished guest with traditional caps and mufflers.<\/p>\n

In his address, the Society President Satya Prakash Thakur urged all the trainee weavers to undergo the training with dedication and hard work. He informed that the 90-day training would provide all necessary technical knowledge related to the weaving craft and that trainees would also be given a stipend. He thanked all the guests for attending the event.<\/p>\n

The General Manager of the District Industry Center PL Negi, in his speech, encouraged the weavers to take full advantage of the training and become self-reliant. He mentioned that receiving training at an organized institution like Bhuttico was a great opportunity for all the participants.<\/p>\n

Vinay Singh, the In-charge of the Weavers Service Center, highlighted the various benefits for the weavers, stating that they could receive up to 90% subsidy for handlooms and up to Rs. 1.20 lakh for the construction of work sheds, provided by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by other prominent members of the Bhuttico Weavers Cooperative Society, including Vice President Rohit Thakur, Director Nirmala Devi, and several other members and weavers.<\/p>\n

The program aims to enhance the skill set of local weavers and improve their economic independence through specialized training and financial support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
