The project, which will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore, aims to promote eco-tourism in the area by providing facilities like a children&#8217;s park, walking trail, yoga space, cafeteria, a watch tower, and three cottages. The initiative is expected to boost local employment and improve the income of residents by fostering tourism in the region.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, CM Sukhu explained that the Hareta area, known for its dense forests, had been selected for the park. He also highlighted the ongoing infrastructure improvements in Hamirpur, including the construction of double-lane roads, which will benefit the region\u2019s connectivity and development.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister underscored his government&#8217;s commitment to strengthening the health sector in Hamirpur. He revealed that the state has already spent Rs. 470 crore on the Hamirpur Medical College, and an additional Rs. 85 crore has been allocated for the construction of a state-of-the-art cancer institute. These investments are part of the government&#8217;s broader vision to make Hamirpur a leader in healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>CM Sukhu criticized the previous BJP government&#8217;s approach, stating that it had weakened government institutions by opening them without the necessary staff and infrastructure. In contrast, the current government is committed to reforming the health sector, with Rs. 1500 crore earmarked to equip health institutions with high-tech machines. Notable upcoming projects include the installation of a PET scan machine at IGMC Shimla and &#8216;3-Tesla MRI Machines&#8217; at several medical colleges and hospitals in the state, including Medical College Tanda and Atal Institute of Medical Super Specialties.<\/p>\n<p>Turning to education, Sukhu noted the unprecedented changes underway to improve the quality of education in Himachal Pradesh. He announced the phased opening of Rajiv Gandhi Day-boarding Schools in every assembly constituency, ensuring quality education in government institutions across the state. The Chief Minister also criticized the previous government&#8217;s focus on distributing freebies for electoral gain, emphasizing that his administration\u2019s policies prioritize public welfare and sustainable development over short-term political advantages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not allow the state\u2019s wealth to be looted. Our government is working for the betterment of the public, and we are committed to ensuring uniform development across Himachal Pradesh,&#8221; Sukhu said, reaffirming his administration\u2019s dedication to making the state self-reliant.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Navjeevan Park, the CM announced the creation of a new Patwar Circle in Hareta and the construction of a new Panchayat House. The local roads and drinking water facilities will also receive budgetary support to further improve the region\u2019s infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by the local community, and various delegations felicitated him on his visit.
