Helicopter Evacuates Two Critical Patients from Udaipur Sub-Division Lahaul and Spiti to Kullu for Treatment.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h1>\n

In a swift response to medical emergencies, two patients were airlifted from the Tindi helipad in the Udaipur sub-division of tribal district Lahaul and Spiti to Kullu for urgent medical treatment today. The operation was coordinated by the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Civil, Udaipur, Manoj Thakur.<\/p>\n

The first patient, Tara Devi, a pregnant woman from the village of Bada (Tindi), was accompanied by her 2-year-old child. She required immediate medical attention for pregnancy-related complications. The second patient, Devki, aged 60, from the village of Kuthad in the Udaipur sub-division, was suffering from a severe ear infection with excessive bleeding from her ear.<\/p>\n

Both patients were airlifted at 10:50 AM this morning via helicopter, as the hilly terrain of the region makes it difficult to access timely medical care. The patients were flown to the Regional Hospital in Kullu, where they will receive necessary treatment.<\/p>\n

Lahaul and Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana had urged the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu yesterday to provide chopper service to airlift these stranded patients out of the area safely to Kullu. Sensing the sensitivity of situation, today state government deployed helicopter in Lahaul valley and evacuated both the patients safely to regional Hospital Kullu for medical aid.<\/p>\n

MLA Rana thanked the Chief Minister for this timely action to save the previous lives.<\/p>\n

This timely evacuation highlights the efforts being made by local authorities and state government to provide urgent medical care to residents of remote areas in Lahaul and Spiti, ensuring that people in need receive the proper care in critical situations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
