From October 2023 to March 2025, an impressive total of <strong>3,25,926 pending revenue cases<\/strong> have been successfully resolved, marking a new chapter in the state\u2019s administrative reform.<\/p>\n<p>A government spokesperson highlighted that the resolved cases include <strong>2,75,004 mutation cases<\/strong>, <strong>16,258 partition cases<\/strong>, <strong>27,404 demarcation cases<\/strong>, and <strong>7,260 correction cases<\/strong>. This initiative is hailed as the <strong>first-ever comprehensive campaign in the State\u2019s history<\/strong> specifically aimed at resolving revenue-related matters through organized Lok Adalats at grassroots levels.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson emphasized the transformative impact of this initiative in alleviating the burden on ordinary citizens. \u201cRevenue Lok Adalats have significantly reduced the need for people to make repeated visits to government offices for routine matters,\u201d he stated. \u201cThis citizen-first model has brought about much-needed efficiency and convenience in revenue services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister<strong>\u00a0Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu<\/strong> has been a driving force behind this reform, consistently advocating for the use of <strong>digital platforms<\/strong> to deliver public services. Revenue officers have been directed to adopt digital tools and streamline workflows, enabling citizens to access vital services online. This move aligns with the Government\u2019s broader vision of a <strong>transparent, accountable, and technologically empowered governance system<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The first Revenue Lok Adalat was held in <strong>October 2023<\/strong>, and following its success, the model has been institutionalized as a <strong>regular mechanism<\/strong> for the disposal of pending revenue cases.
