He highlighted that this route serves as the <strong>primary access road for over 10,000 residents<\/strong> across 6 to 7 panchayats, yet remains severely neglected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe road is riddled with deep potholes making it unsafe not just for two-wheelers but even for four-wheelers,\u201d said Thakur, expressing shock at the extent of the damage. He also conveyed the frustration of local residents, who reported that even <strong>newly purchased vehicles have been damaged<\/strong> due to the poor road conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Criticizing the <strong>Public Works Department<\/strong> and the <strong>local MLA<\/strong> for their inaction, Thakur urged them to take immediate steps to provide relief to the people. \u201cIf full tarring of the road isn\u2019t possible right now, <strong>at least undertake patchwork<\/strong> to make it somewhat drivable,\u201d he appealed.<\/p>\n<p>He specifically mentioned the <strong>remote panchayats of Koon, Torkhola, and Cholgarh<\/strong>, stating that these areas have remained <strong>deprived of development<\/strong>, with basic infrastructure still a distant dream. \u201cThe local MLA has completely ignored these regions, leaving the public to struggle for basic facilities,\u201d Thakur added.<\/p>\n<p>Rajat Thakur assured the local population that <strong>despite being in opposition<\/strong>, he would not hesitate to raise their concerns at every level.
