The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI)<\/strong> has released its Independent Drive Test (IDT)<\/strong> findings for the Jammu & Kashmir Licensed Service Area (LSA)<\/strong>, specifically focusing on Leh City and the strategic highway corridors from Leh to Nubra Valley, Nubra to Pangong, and Pangong to Leh<\/strong>. Conducted between June 10 and 12, 2025<\/strong>, the test evaluated mobile network performance across urban zones, institutional hotspots, high-speed transit corridors, and pedestrian markets<\/strong> in one of India\u2019s most remote and challenging terrains.<\/p>\n

The assessment, supervised by the TRAI Regional Office, Delhi<\/strong>, included 41.3 km of city driving<\/strong>, 302 km of highway driving<\/strong>, five hotspot locations<\/strong>, and a 2 km walk test<\/strong>. The evaluation spanned 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies<\/strong>, covering the performance of Airtel, BSNL, and Reliance Jio (RJIL)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Key parameters such as Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR)<\/strong>, Call Setup Time<\/strong>, Drop Call Rate (DCR)<\/strong>, Call Silence Rate<\/strong>, and Mean Opinion Score (MOS)<\/strong> were analyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
