Mandav Air Industry, located at Plot No. 12 in Phase I of the Sauli Khad Industrial Area in Mandi district, celebrated its Silver Jubilee today with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event witnessed the participation of hundreds of people, including company employees, their families, and relatives. A community lunch was organized to mark the occasion, attended by several dignitaries and well-wishers.<\/p>\n

The celebration turned even more special with a landmark announcement by the company. Rajender Prasad Kapoor, the visionary founder of Mandav Air Industry, declared the launch of a pension scheme for employees, a move that was met with visible joy and appreciation among the workforce.<\/p>\n

A Journey of Grit and Inspiration<\/h4>\n

Rajender Prasad Kapoor’s entrepreneurial journey is nothing short of inspiring. From taking a modest loan from Himachal Gramin Bank in 1982 to start a furniture business, Kapoor has built a legacy that now includes three oxygen gas plants across Himachal Pradesh.<\/p>\n

In the year 2000, he pivoted from the furniture sector to the oxygen gas industry. His firm, Mandav Air Industry, played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic by ensuring an uninterrupted supply of oxygen across the state, potentially saving thousands of lives.<\/p>\n

Today, the company employs over 70 workers, providing stable livelihoods in the region. On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee, Kapoor shared his continued commitment to employee welfare by announcing not only a future pension scheme but also initiating pension benefits for the widows of deceased employees.<\/p>\n

Widows of Former Employees Begin Receiving Pension<\/h4>\n

Three women \u2014 Rita Devi, Sunita Devi, and Sushma Devi \u2014 whose husbands were former employees of the company and had passed away at different times, have now started receiving a monthly pension of Rs. 5,000 under the newly launched scheme.<\/p>\n

The women expressed heartfelt gratitude to the company, acknowledging the financial support as a significant help in sustaining their families.<\/p>\n

Commitment to Long-Term Employee Welfare<\/h4>\n

Company Managing Director Sudhanshu Kapoor, while addressing the media, outlined the details of the pension scheme. He stated that starting from today, the company would contribute 20% of an employee\u2019s basic salary towards their pension, to be disbursed post-retirement. The initiative reflects the company\u2019s commitment to valuing the long-term service and loyalty of its workforce.<\/p>\n

Sudhanshu Kapoor also mentioned that more welfare initiatives are in the pipeline, aiming to make Mandav Air Industry not just a leader in industrial success, but also a model employer in the private sector.<\/p>\n
