In a significant security development, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)<\/strong> has apprehended two Nigerian nationals<\/strong>, a Brazilian citizen<\/strong>, and a Bangladeshi national<\/strong> from areas along the Indo-Nepal international border<\/strong>. These individuals are believed to have escaped from jails in Nepal<\/strong> during the recent wave of anti-government protests<\/strong> that have plunged the Himalayan nation into political and civil unrest.<\/p>\n

According to official sources, these foreign nationals were intercepted over the last three to four days<\/strong>, as part of a coordinated effort between the SSB and state police forces deployed along the 1,751-km-long unfenced border<\/strong> shared by India and Nepal.<\/p>\n

Over 75 Apprehended Amid Escalating Crisis<\/h3>\n

So far, authorities have detained more than 75 individuals<\/strong>, including Indians<\/strong> and foreign nationals, who are suspected of having illegally crossed into India<\/strong> to escape the volatile situation in Nepal. The apprehensions were made from multiple points along the border<\/strong>, stretching from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar and West Bengal.<\/p>\n
