Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong> laid the foundation stone, inaugurated, and dedicated to the nation a series of transformative development projects worth Rs. 13,430 crore<\/strong> in Kurnool<\/strong>, Andhra Pradesh. Addressing a massive gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the state\u2019s cultural richness, technological potential, and its critical role in shaping India\u2019s 21st-century growth story.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his spiritual journey, Modi said, \u201cI feel blessed to be born in Gujarat, the land of Somnath, to serve in Kashi, the land of Baba Vishwanath, and to receive the blessings of Srisailam today.\u201d He also paid tributes at the Sree Shivaji Spoorthi Kendra and honored legendary figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Allama Prabhu, Akkamahadevi, and freedom fighters Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and Hari Sarvottama Rao.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister emphasized Andhra Pradesh\u2019s cultural pride, scientific innovation, and youthful potential, stating that the state is poised for accelerated development under the joint leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu<\/strong> and Pawan Kalyan<\/strong>. He underscored the collaboration between Delhi and Amaravati, calling it a vital force in India’s journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047.<\/p>\n

Major Announcements and Projects:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  • Energy & Infrastructure:<\/strong>
    \nA Rs. 3,000 crore transmission project<\/strong> and Natural Gas Pipeline from Srikakulam to Angul<\/strong> were launched. An LPG Bottling Plant in Chittoor<\/strong> was inaugurated, capable of filling 20,000 cylinders daily<\/strong>, expected to boost local employment.<\/li>\n
  • Connectivity Boost:<\/strong>
    \nModi unveiled new highways, including the Sabbavaram\u2013Sheelanagar corridor<\/strong>, new rail lines, and flyovers, promising to improve both passenger convenience and industrial logistics across Andhra.<\/li>\n
  • Technology Leap:<\/strong>
    \nGoogle will establish India\u2019s first Artificial Intelligence Hub<\/strong> in Andhra Pradesh, with advanced data centers, AI infrastructure, and a new International Subsea Gateway<\/strong> at Visakhapatnam, cementing the state\u2019s place in global digital connectivity.<\/li>\n
  • Industrial Growth:<\/strong>
    \nThe Advanced Night Vision Factory in Nimmaluru<\/strong> was launched to enhance indigenous defence production, drone technology, and exports. Orvakal and Kopparthy are being developed as new industrial corridors<\/strong> to boost Rayalaseema\u2019s growth.<\/li>\n
  • Tax & Economic Reforms:<\/strong>
    \nModi noted that income up to Rs. 12 lakh is now tax-free and lauded the GST Bachat Utsav<\/strong> launched under Nara Lokesh\u2019s leadership. He stated that next-gen GST reforms<\/strong> would save Rs. 8,000 crore<\/strong> for Andhra citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Calling Andhra Pradesh the \u201cland of pride and rich culture,\u201d Modi reiterated that it must play a central role in India\u2019s journey to becoming a global manufacturing and innovation hub.<\/p>\n
