Under the directions of Superintendent of Police Shivani Mehla, IPS<\/strong>, the Lahaul & Spiti District Police<\/strong> organized a special awareness and interaction program today as part of the ongoing campaign \u201cJan Samman \u2013 Police Apnapan\u201d<\/strong>. The event was held under the theme \u201cJan Suraksha Sankalp \u2013 Ek Din Police Ke Saath\u201d<\/strong> to promote trust and understanding between the police and the community.<\/p>\n

A total of 27 students and five teachers<\/strong> from Government Senior Secondary School, Jahalma<\/strong>, along with Dr. Ayush<\/strong> and two staff members from the Primary Health Centre, Jahalma<\/strong>, participated in the session.<\/p>\n

During the program, police officials briefed the participants on police duties, functioning, ethics, and work conditions<\/strong>. Students were also educated about drug prevention, traffic safety, cyber fraud awareness, and social responsibility<\/strong>. An interactive question-and-answer session allowed students to engage directly with officers.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ayush addressed the gathering on the ill effects of drug abuse<\/strong>, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle.<\/p>\n

The event concluded with the distribution of biscuits and refreshments. Participants expressed gratitude to the police department for the informative and engaging session.<\/p>\n
