Chief Minister\u00a0Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu<\/strong> dedicated a series of development projects worth Rs. 27.43 crore<\/strong> in the Solan Assembly Constituency<\/strong> during his one-day visit to the district on Tuesday, reaffirming the state government\u2019s commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure, education, healthcare, and renewable energy.<\/p>\n

During his visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated three key projects<\/strong> and laid the foundation stones of two others<\/strong>, aimed at enhancing public services and boosting local development.<\/p>\n

\n

Major Inaugurations<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Among the inaugurated projects was the new building of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Sayri<\/strong>, constructed at a cost of Rs. 8.50 crore<\/strong>. The modern facility is expected to provide quality technical education and skill training to local youth, enhancing employment opportunities and supporting the region\u2019s industrial growth.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Forest Rest House at Serighat<\/strong>, built with an investment of Rs. 59 lakh<\/strong>, which will strengthen the infrastructure of the Forest Department and facilitate better management of forest-related activities and eco-tourism in the area.<\/p>\n

Another significant project inaugurated by the Chief Minister was the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Basheel<\/strong> in Mamligh Gram Panchayat<\/strong>. The new PHC will improve access to healthcare services for the residents of remote and rural areas, ensuring timely medical attention and preventive care.<\/p>\n

Foundation Stones for New Initiatives<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In addition to inaugurating completed projects, Chief Minister Sukhu laid the foundation stone for the Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day Boarding School at Mamligh<\/strong>, which will be built at a cost of Rs! 16.34 crore<\/strong>. The school, part of the state government\u2019s initiative to strengthen public education, will offer modern facilities, digital classrooms, and a holistic learning environment for students.<\/p>\n

He also laid the foundation stone of a Solar Power Plant at Kayasu<\/strong>, to be set up at a cost of Rs. 2 crore<\/strong> in Mamligh Gram Panchayat. The project reflects the government\u2019s vision of promoting clean energy and sustainability, aligning with Himachal Pradesh\u2019s goal of becoming a green and energy-efficient state<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Commitment to Equitable Development<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sukhu emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring balanced development across all regions<\/strong>, particularly in rural and hilly areas. He said that projects in education, healthcare, and energy are being prioritized to improve the quality of life for every citizen.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus is on empowering the youth through education and skill development, improving healthcare access, and promoting clean energy solutions,\u201d the Chief Minister said. \u201cThese projects in Solan are a testament to our government\u2019s resolve to build a prosperous and self-reliant Himachal.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He further added that the government is implementing progressive policies<\/strong> to strengthen infrastructure, create employment opportunities, and attract investment while safeguarding the state\u2019s rich environmental heritage.<\/p>\n

People\u2019s Warm Reception<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by local residents and public representatives during his tour. Several delegations met him to express gratitude for the new projects and to share local developmental needs.<\/p>\n
