In a major boost to infrastructure development, Himachal Pradesh has received approval for Rs. 2,271 crore<\/strong> to construct and upgrade 294 roads<\/strong> across the state. The projects will strengthen approximately 1,538 kilometers of the road network<\/strong>, significantly improving connectivity and accessibility in both rural and urban regions.<\/p>\n

Announcing this, Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Vikramaditya Singh<\/strong> said the initiative marks a proud moment for the state and reflects the government\u2019s unwavering commitment to holistic and inclusive growth.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis achievement is a testament to our collective efforts and dedication towards the overall development of Himachal Pradesh,\u201d said Singh. \u201cThese projects are not just about roads \u2014 they represent stronger connections, job creation, and the empowerment of our rural economy.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Singh emphasized that his government believes in positive and people-centric politics<\/strong>, focused on public welfare, transparency, and sustainable progress<\/strong> rather than personal or political gain. He noted that the aim is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every section of society and every corner of the state.<\/p>\n

He further stated that development is not merely about financial allocations or infrastructure, but about people\u2019s participation and public-oriented governance<\/strong>. The construction of 294 new and improved roads, he said, will not only enhance the state\u2019s infrastructure but will also generate employment and strengthen the local economy, especially in remote areas.<\/p>\n

Recalling the vision of former Chief Minister Raja Virbhadra Singh<\/strong>, Vikramaditya Singh said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will continue to follow the path shown by Raja Virbhadra Singh Ji, who believed that true politics means service and dedication. Guided by his philosophy, we aim to make Himachal Pradesh a model of development, good governance, and public service.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Minister also expressed gratitude to the people of Himachal Pradesh for their continued trust and support, describing it as the government\u2019s greatest strength.<\/p>\n
