In a historic moment marking the completion of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple\u2019s construction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today ceremonially hoisted the saffron Dharma Dhwaja<\/em> atop the temple\u2019s Shikhar in Ayodhya. The event, celebrated as the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Dhwajarohan Utsav<\/strong>, was witnessed by devotees across India and worldwide, with the Prime Minister declaring that \u201ctoday, the entire India and the entire world is filled with the spirit of Lord Shri Ram.\u201d<\/p>\n

The day coincided with Margashirsha Shukla Panchami<\/strong>, also observed as Vivah Panchami<\/strong> of Shri Ram and Sita, and the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur\u2014adding deep spiritual significance.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cA Flag of India\u2019s Civilizational Reawakening\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Calling the Dharma Dhwaja \u201cthe flag of the renaissance of Indian civilization,\u201d Prime Minister Modi said the saffron banner\u2014bearing the radiant Sun symbol, an \u2018Om,\u2019 and the sacred Kovidar tree\u2014embodies the values of Ram Rajya<\/strong>, including truth, dignity, unity, and cultural continuity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis flag is resolve, this flag is success, and this flag is the culmination of centuries of struggle and devotion,\u201d he added, stressing that the banner will proclaim the ideals of truth, duty, and freedom from suffering for thousands of years to come.<\/p>\n

He also referenced ancient scriptures, noting that those unable to enter the temple but who bow to its flag will earn spiritual merit.<\/p>\n

\n

Ayodhya as the Symbol of Collective Strength<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Describing Ayodhya as \u201cthe land where ideals transform into conduct,\u201d PM Modi highlighted the spiritual and cultural mosaic now represented in the newly completed temple complex. He pointed to the seven surrounding temples dedicated to figures such as Mata Shabari, Nishadraj, Maharshi Valmiki, Maharshi Vashishtha, and Sant Tulsidas\u2014symbolizing friendship, social harmony, and the contributions of every section of society.<\/p>\n

The complex also includes 87 carved stone panels<\/strong> from the Valmiki Ramayana and 79 bronze-cast cultural episodes<\/strong>, making it a unique educational and cultural heritage site.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Ram Unites Through Emotion, Not Differences\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Emphasizing inclusiveness, the Prime Minister said that for Lord Ram, devotion mattered more than lineage and cooperation more than power. He reiterated the government\u2019s developmental focus over the past 11 years on women, Dalits, backward and tribal communities, farmers, and youth.<\/p>\n

When every section of society is empowered, he said, the collective resolve of building a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047<\/strong> becomes achievable.<\/p>\n

Call to Overcome the \u2018Mentality of Slavery\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a powerful cultural and historical reflection, PM Modi urged the nation to dedicate the next decade to eliminating the \u201cmentality of slavery,\u201d referencing the long-lasting impact of Macaulay\u2019s colonial framework introduced in 1835.<\/p>\n

He stressed that India must reclaim pride in its democratic traditions, citing ancient systems such as the democratic inscription at Uttiramerur<\/strong> and the deliberative forums of Anubhava Mantapa<\/strong> founded by Basavanna.<\/p>\n

From replacing colonial symbols in the Indian Navy to restoring the legacy of Lord Ram, he said these steps mark India\u2019s journey to reclaim its civilizational confidence.<\/p>\n

\n

Ayodhya: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity<\/strong><\/h3>\n

PM Modi shared a vision of Ayodhya as a futuristic spiritual city where \u201cspirituality and artificial intelligence will coexist.\u201d Major infrastructure developments\u2014including the grand airport, a modern railway station, Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, and improved livelihoods\u2014have already transformed Ayodhya into one of Uttar Pradesh\u2019s most dynamic cities.<\/p>\n

Since the Pran Pratishtha earlier this year, nearly 45 crore devotees<\/strong> have visited the temple, leading to a surge in local prosperity.<\/p>\n

A Chariot for a Developed India<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Drawing a parallel from Lord Ram\u2019s metaphorical chariot in the Ramayana, the Prime Minister said India\u2019s journey to becoming a developed nation requires:<\/p>\n

  • Flag:<\/strong> Truth and supreme conduct<\/li>\n
  • Horses:<\/strong> Strength, wisdom, restraint, benevolence<\/li>\n

    He said national interest must remain above self-interest for India to progress with unity and determination.<\/p>\n
