Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the media ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament, called for a productive and responsible session focused on national interest rather than political confrontation. He stressed that the session must energize the country\u2019s rapid development efforts and reinforce Bharat\u2019s democratic and economic strength.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister said that democracy in Bharat continues to grow stronger, citing the recent Bihar elections and record voter turnout as evidence of the people\u2019s deepening trust in democratic processes. The rising participation of women voters, he said, brings \u201cnew hope and confidence.\u201d He added that the world is closely observing how India\u2019s democracy and economy are advancing together, proving that \u201cDemocracy Can Deliver\u201d as the nation moves toward the goal of a Viksit Bharat<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Calling for a balanced approach from all parties, he urged the Opposition to fulfil its responsibility by engaging in meaningful debates rather than dwelling on electoral defeats. At the same time, he cautioned that the session must not become an arena for arrogance after victory. \u201cHere, there should be delivery, not drama,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister expressed concern that young and first-time MPs were not being given opportunities to speak, calling on all parties to allow their participation so the nation could benefit from their experiences and perspectives.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted the beginning of the tenure of the new Chairperson of the Upper House and extended best wishes. Pointing to GST reforms as an example of successful next-generation reforms, he said more significant steps would be taken in this session.<\/p>\n

Criticising the trend of using Parliament as a platform for state-level politics, he urged parties to rethink their approach, emphasising that MPs must not become victims of frustration or defeat. Concluding his statement, he assured citizens that the nation was steadily moving toward greater heights and that the Winter Session would infuse \u201cnew energy and strength\u201d into India\u2019s developmental journey.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
