Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, while addressing the Jan Sankalp Sammelan in Mandi on Sunday, rolled out a series of development initiatives and disbursed financial assistance to beneficiaries under multiple flagship welfare schemes. The event marked a major push toward the state government’s agenda of digital governance, social welfare, and rural empowerment.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister inaugurated several development projects, including the Community Relief Centre at Rahkhot Thunag<\/strong>, and unveiled major digital services such as the MyDeed Portal<\/strong>, the Naksha Scheme<\/strong>, the digitally signed and updated Jamabandi module<\/strong>, and the Bhunaksha 5.0<\/strong> initiative. He also launched the new Gramin Bank logo<\/strong> and inaugurated the Basketball Girls\u2019 Hostel<\/strong> at Rabindranath Tagore Government College, Sarkaghat.<\/p>\n

Direct Financial Transfers and Aid Distribution<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a significant financial outreach, CM Sukhu transferred Rs, 50.63 lakh<\/strong> directly into the bank accounts of 401 farmers<\/strong> under the Rajiv Gandhi Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kisan Yojana<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a special relief package of Rs. 51.12 crore<\/strong> was disbursed to disaster-affected families across Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Lahaul-Spiti, Sirmaur, Solan, and Una<\/strong> districts, reflecting the government\u2019s commitment to rehabilitating regions impacted by natural calamities.<\/p>\n

The Chief Minister also handed over symbolic e-taxi keys to 25 beneficiaries<\/strong> under the Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Start-up Scheme<\/em>, promoting self-employment avenues. As part of the government\u2019s overseas employment initiative, 21 youths<\/strong> selected for international placements received their air tickets and visas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Support Under Various Livelihood Schemes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Further strengthening rural and livelihood sectors, CM Sukhu distributed:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Rs. 10.38 lakh to 10 beneficiaries<\/strong> from Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur and Una districts under the Mukhyamantri Carp Matsyapalan Yojana<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  • Rs. 1.76 lakh<\/strong> to beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Madhu Mandav Vikas Yojana<\/em> in Mandi district.<\/li>\n
  • Assistance under the Himachal Pushp Kranti Yojana<\/em>, supporting floriculture.<\/li>\n
  • Ownership rights certificates<\/strong> to five beneficiaries from Kinnaur<\/strong> under the Forest Rights Act<\/em>, granting them authority over their traditional forest land.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Sukh-Ashray Yojana<\/em> and the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana<\/em> also received assistance during the event.<\/p>\n

    e-Rs. Vouchers for Students Under Digital Scheme<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    A major highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of e-Rs. vouchers<\/strong> to meritorious students under the Srinivasa Ramanujan Students Digital Scheme<\/em>. Through this digital voucher, students can purchase laptops, tablets, or smartphones of their choice.<\/p>\n

    A total of 8,450 Class 10 and 12 toppers<\/strong>, along with 900 final-year undergraduate students<\/strong>, have benefited from the scheme, ensuring equitable access to modern digital learning tools.<\/p>\n

    Government\u2019s Commitment to Digital and Inclusive Growth<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Addressing the gathering, CM Sukhu emphasized that these initiatives underscore the state government\u2019s dedication to promoting modern education, digital empowerment, and welfare-oriented governance.
    \nHe reiterated that enabling students and citizens to access technology and government services with ease remains a top priority for the administration.<\/p>\n
