{"id":9027,"date":"2026-02-05T03:52:52","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T03:52:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theeaglenews.co.in\/?p=9027"},"modified":"2026-02-05T03:52:52","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T03:52:52","slug":"president-of-india-inaugurates-and-lays-foundation-stones-of-major-development-projects-at-rairangpur-odisha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theeaglenews.co.in\/?p=9027","title":{"rendered":"President of India Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones of Major Development Projects at Rairangpur, Odisha."},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><h1>President of India Inaugurates and Lays Foundation Stones of Major Development Projects at Rairangpur, Odisha.<\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rairangpur (Odisha):<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, today inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several key developmental projects at Rairangpur in Odisha\u2019s Mayurbhanj district, marking a significant boost to infrastructure, education, healthcare, and cultural development in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The President inaugurated the Information Technology Campus of Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University and laid foundation stones for a range of important projects, including an AYUSH Hospital-cum-Ayurvedic College, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) Campus, Archery Centre, City Beautification and Drainage Upgradation Projects, Auditorium and Cultural Centre, Girls\u2019 Hostel, and a Deaddiction Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, President Murmu said that the Government of India\u2019s Purvodaya vision places special emphasis on the development of eastern India, with Odisha being a key beneficiary. She noted that Mayurbhanj district is witnessing substantial progress under this vision and expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated and proposed projects would accelerate regional development and create new employment opportunities for local people.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the government\u2019s commitment to tribal welfare, the President said that special efforts are being made for the economic upliftment of tribal communities. She cited initiatives such as providing Minimum Support Price (MSP) for more than 90 minor forest products under the Pradhan Mantri Van Dhan Yojana, micro-credit loans to tribal self-help group members, and low-interest loans for Scheduled Tribe women under the Tribal Women Empowerment Scheme. These initiatives, she said, reflect the government\u2019s focused approach towards inclusive growth.<\/p>\n<p>The President also emphasized the government\u2019s work in strengthening health and education infrastructure in tribal areas. She referred to the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri-JANMAN Yojana for the welfare of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). She added that electrification of tribal-dominated areas and the expansion of 4G internet connectivity in remote regions have further strengthened the foundation for holistic development.<\/p>\n<p>President Murmu underlined that the upliftment of the poorest sections of society is intrinsically linked to the development of tribal communities. She said the government is continuously working to ensure that tribal populations receive the full benefits of welfare and development schemes.
