Students, office-goers, elderly residents, and women are among the worst affected, as they are now compelled to rely on private vehicles or expensive transport alternatives to attend schools, colleges, hospitals, and workplaces.<\/p>\n<p>Raising the issue, Rajat Thakur, State Working Committee Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has urged the authorities and HRTC management to immediately restore bus services on the route. He stated that buses from the Sundernagar depot and other local routes were previously operating regularly on this road, providing essential connectivity and convenience to residents.<\/p>\n<p>According to Thakur, the road connects several villages including Bardana, Tarohla, Dhwali, and Richhli, with a large number of daily commuters traveling to Dharampur, Sundernagar, and nearby towns. The suspension of services has particularly burdened families from economically weaker and middle-class backgrounds who cannot afford private transportation costs on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>He further pointed out that local residents have repeatedly approached the concerned department and administration to resolve the issue, but no concrete action has been taken so far. Emphasizing the urgency of the matter, Thakur called on the government and HRTC to prioritize public convenience and resume operations on the route without further delay.<\/p>\n<p>Issuing a warning to the administration, he said that if the bus service is not restored soon, residents may be forced to stage strong protests, holding the authorities responsible for the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Local residents have also appealed to the administration to consider public interest and restart bus operations at the earliest.
