The directive covers outstanding payments related to various departments, including the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Jal Shakti Vibhag.<\/p>\n<p>According to a spokesperson of the Finance Department, payments amounting to approximately Rs. 225 crore will be released shortly to eligible contractors. The move is expected to provide significant financial relief, particularly to small and medium contractors who have been awaiting clearance of their dues.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson stated that the decision aims to ease the financial burden on contractors and ensure that developmental works continue without disruption.
