This facility aims to strengthen advanced surgical care across the State, providing patients with access to precision-based procedures closer to home.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted that the IGMC facility follows the successful commissioning of robotic surgery units at Chamiyana in Shimla district, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College at Tanda in Kangra district, and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College at Nerchowk in Mandi district. \u201cPatients in the State are now receiving world-class robotic surgery in government hospitals, the first of its kind in North India,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>CM Sukhu emphasized that the facility would greatly enhance minimally invasive and advanced surgical procedures in specialties including General Surgery, Gastro Surgery, Oncology, and Gynecology. He added that a robotic surgery machine would also be installed at Hamirpur Medical College within the next month, and the State Government is considering introducing similar facilities in Kullu and other far-flung areas to ensure wider accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister assured that there is no shortage of funds for strengthening the health sector, underlining the Government\u2019s priority to provide world-class medical services to all citizens. Advanced medical laboratories are being established at IGMC Shimla, Chamiyana, and Tanda Medical College, and a 3-Tesla MRI machine has already been installed at IGMC, benefiting patients across the region.<\/p>\n<p>On the cost of treatment, CM Sukhu said that robotic surgery procedures would be priced at Rs. 50,000 for patients opting for special wards and Re. 30,000 for those in regular wards.<\/p>\n<p>Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, MLA Harish Janartha, Secretary Health M.
