Israel\u2019s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu<\/strong> delivered a direct message to the people of Iran<\/strong> on the occasion of Nowruz<\/strong>, saying Israel had recently carried out strikes against senior figures linked to what he described as the \u201cterror leadership\u201d of the Iranian regime.<\/p>\n

Speaking from the Israeli Air Force command center at the The Kirya<\/strong>, Israel\u2019s main military headquarters in Tel Aviv<\/strong>, Netanyahu said the operations were conducted within the past 24 hours. He was accompanied by senior security officials including Israel\u2019s Defense Minister, the Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF)<\/strong>, the head of the Mossad<\/strong>, the commander of the Israeli Air Force<\/strong>, and other top military leaders.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, Netanyahu claimed Israeli forces had eliminated two senior figures he described as \u201ctop terrorist chieftains\u201d associated with the Iranian regime. He also said Israeli aircraft were continuing operations targeting what he called \u201cterror operatives\u201d across different locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur aircraft are hitting the terror operatives on the ground, in the crossroads, in the city squares,\u201d Netanyahu said in the recorded message.<\/p>\n

Message to the Iranian People<\/h3>\n

Addressing the Iranian public directly, Netanyahu linked the military action to the upcoming Nowruz<\/strong> celebrations, the Persian New Year observed across Iran and other parts of the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is meant to enable the brave people of Iran to celebrate the Festival of Fire,\u201d he said, referring to Chaharshanbe Suri<\/strong>, a traditional fire festival held before Nowruz.<\/p>\n

Netanyahu ended his message by wishing the Iranian people a happy new year.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo celebrate and Happy Nowruz. We\u2019re watching from above,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
