In a major initiative aimed at enhancing preventive healthcare and overall well-being among security personnel, the Ministry of Ayush has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Industrial Security Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs.<\/p>\n

The agreement focuses on promoting Ayush-based preventive healthcare practices, including yoga, stress management, lifestyle improvement, and holistic wellness among CISF personnel and their families. This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to improving physical and mental resilience within the force.<\/p>\n

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. A. Raghu and Pratibha Agarwal at CISF Headquarters in New Delhi. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Rajesh Kotecha and Praveer Ranjan.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the partnership aims to deepen cooperation between the two organisations by extending Ayush-based preventive and promotive healthcare services across CISF units. Key focus areas of the initiative include awareness campaigns, sensitisation programmes, wellness interventions, regular yoga practices, and lifestyle management based on traditional systems of medicine.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the collaboration will explore the feasibility of providing Ayush OPD-level services at CISF establishments, ensuring easier access to holistic healthcare solutions for personnel and their families.<\/p>\n

Under the agreement, the Ministry of Ayush will provide technical expertise, develop specialised wellness modules, and offer guidance through its network of institutions and research councils. Meanwhile, CISF will facilitate the on-ground implementation of these initiatives across its formations nationwide.<\/p>\n

Officials stated that this partnership marks a significant step toward integrating traditional healthcare systems into the daily lives of security personnel. By focusing on prevention and holistic well-being, the initiative is expected to improve health outcomes, enhance stress management, and boost overall quality of life.<\/p>\n
