The Indian Navy successfully conducted the IONS Maritime Exercise (IMEX) Tabletop Exercise (TTX) 2026 at the Maritime Warfare Centre under the Southern Naval Command in Kochi, marking a significant step toward enhancing regional maritime security cooperation.<\/p>\n

The high-level exercise brought together senior delegates from member nations of the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS), along with international officers from IOS SAGAR and personnel of the Indian Navy. The discussions focused on addressing emerging non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indian Ocean Region.<\/p>\n

The exercise saw active participation from navies of Bangladesh, France, Indonesia, Kenya, Maldives, Mauritius, Myanmar, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Timor-Leste.
