Triumph Legacy Youth Cup Concludes at Historic Paddal Ground in Mandi, Triumph FC Clinches Title.

The one-day Triumph Legacy Youth Cup Football Tournament concluded successfully at the historic Paddal Ground, Mandi today. The tournament was organized by Triumph Youth Club in collaboration with the District Football Association Mandi, with the aim of promoting football among youngsters, encouraging local talent, and strengthening sportsmanship and discipline.

A total of six teams participated in the tournament, including Triumph Football Academy, Sports Training Centre Paddal, Photon School of Science Team A, Photon School of Science Team B, Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandi, and DAV Centenary School Mandi.

In the first pool match of Pool A, Photon School of Science Team A faced DAV Centenary School Mandi. Arnav and Tanish scored one goal each for DAV Centenary School Mandi, while Divyans scored for Photon School of Science Team A. DAV Centenary School Mandi won the match 2-1.

In the Pool B encounter between Photon School of Science Team B and Sports Training Centre Paddal, Sports Training Centre Paddal registered a convincing 9-0 victory. Arnav scored three goals, Adikshit scored two goals, while Krishna, Kavya, Ishan, and Karan contributed one goal each.

The first semi-final was played between Triumph Football Club and DAV Centenary School Mandi. Triumph Football Club’s Shaurya scored two goals to give his team the lead, while Tanish scored one goal for DAV Centenary School Mandi. Triumph Football Club won the match 2-1 and secured a place in the final.

The second semi-final was contested between Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandi and Sports Training Centre Paddal. Yogesh and Dikshit scored one goal each for Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandi, helping the team win 2-0 and advance to the final.

According to Triumph Youth Club President Sushant Sharma, the final match was played between Triumph Football Club and Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandi. The match remained highly competitive, with Arnab scoring in the fifth minute to give Triumph Football Club a 1-0 lead. Despite strong efforts from both sides, the score remained unchanged until the final whistle, and Triumph Football Club lifted the championship trophy with a 1-0 victory.

Speaking about the tournament, Sushant Sharma said that the event was organized to provide young players with a platform to showcase their skills and to promote football culture in the region.

The successful completion of the Triumph Legacy Youth Cup marked an important step towards nurturing emerging football talent and encouraging greater participation of youth in sports activities across Mandi.
