CM Sukhu Dedicates 21 Development Projects Worth Rs. 136.25 Crore in Mandi.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 21 development projects worth Rs. 136.25 crore across the Balh, Nachan, Mandi Sadar and Karsog Assembly constituencies during his one-day visit to Mandi district.
The projects, dedicated at Kansa Ground in the Balh area, cover road infrastructure, drinking water, healthcare, education, veterinary services and public facilities, aimed at strengthening basic infrastructure and improving public services across the district.
Road infrastructure projects inaugurated
The Chief Minister inaugurated several major road projects, including:
Rs.10.73 crore metalling and tarring of the Chandyal-Pipli-Kuthwari-Kandi-Tarapur-Kharsi-Mansa Mata Mandir Dola Tikkar road.
Rs. 8.28 crore Sakroha-Naina Mata Mandir-Pipli-Nadaul-Kausala-Malwana road.
Rs. 5.11 crore Lakhvan-Dahanu-Bhanshot-Rathol-Andreta-Meramsit road.
Rs. 3.08 crore Tanda-Kohla-Tikkari-Kawalkot-Sidhkothi via Baba Balak Nath Mandir-Thapla-Gobhol-Galoo road.
Rs. 3.51 crore Doyda Pul-Chhajwan-Khabu Panchayat Ghar-Dusra Khabu-Darviyas road.
Rs. 25.89 crore upgradation of the Nerchowk-Ratti-Kalkhar road.
Rs. 2.08 crore PWD Division Office building at Nerchowk.
Other facilities inaugurated included a Rs. 32 lakh Ayurvedic Health Centre building at Behna and a Rs. 23 lakh Veterinary Dispensary building at Koth.
Major drinking water schemes inaugurated
The Chief Minister also inaugurated important drinking water supply projects, including the Rs. 43.91 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) to habitations under the IPH Sub-Division Rewalsar in Balh tehsil.
Another Rs. 17.01 crore LWSS for Bahli-Mahadev and Neri Kangar and Panyas under PIU Division Mandi was also inaugurated.
These schemes are expected to improve the availability of safe and reliable drinking water in several villages and habitations.
Education and public infrastructure
Among the other projects inaugurated were:
Rs.4.42 crore Government Primary School at Bal (U-Block Mandi).
Rs. 38 lakh Panchayat Ghar at Dahnu.
Rs. 38 lakh Panchayat Ghar at Malthehar.
Rs. 25 lakh Mandav Gramin Haat at Pandoh (Seog).
Rs. 12 lakh Patwarkhana at PC Rajwadi, Tehsil Balh.
Rs. 12 lakh Patwarkhana at PC Karsog, Tehsil Karsog.
Foundation stones laid for new projects
During the programme, the Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for several development works.
These included a Rs. 50 lakh Ayurvedic Health Centre building at Halyatar, Rs. 1.41 crore Type-I and Type-II staff quarters at Kangni, and a Rs. 1.15 crore Panchayat Samudayik Kendra at Ratti under Development Block Balh.
He also laid the foundation stone for a Rs. 7.38 crore project for providing FPQ on Sekad Khad and Behna Nallah in Balh tehsil.
CM highlights infrastructure development
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sukhu said the projects would significantly strengthen basic infrastructure and public services in the concerned areas.
He said improved road connectivity would facilitate smoother movement of vehicles and strengthen the overall road network in Mandi district. The drinking water projects, he added, would improve access to safe and dependable water supplies for residents of the villages covered under the schemes.
The Chief Minister said the government was committed to accelerating development works and ensuring that essential infrastructure and public services reached people across the state.
