Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage, devotional traditions, craftsmanship and sporting legacy are being showcased through a diverse collection of 37 artefacts featured in the PM Mementos e-Auction 2026.
The collection offers a glimpse into the state’s varied traditions, bringing together folk deities, traditional paintings, textiles, architectural landmarks, devotional art and historical and contemporary memorabilia.
Among the prominent artefacts is a handcrafted Ambabari elephant with Howdah, carved from wood and decorated with traditional patterns. Another wooden elephant procession set depicts a royal howdah accompanied by ceremonial attendants, reflecting Rajasthan’s association with royal processions and traditional craftsmanship.
The collection also features silver mementos depicting Veer Tejaji Maharaj, the revered folk deity of Rajasthan. One artefact portrays Tejaji mounted on a horse, while another silver-plated statue shows him riding with his characteristic spear and snake motif.
Devotional Art and Traditional Paintings
Rajasthan’s rich tradition of devotional painting is represented through several works in the catalogue. These include Pichwai paintings of Shrinathji from Nathdwara, a Phad painting depicting Lakshmi and Narayan, and a Pattachitra-style artwork portraying Krishna Raas Leela.
