The announcement came during a meeting with a deputation from the Ani and Banjar regions of Kullu, which was led by Chairman of MILKFED, Budhi Singh Thakur.

During the meeting, the deputation submitted various demands concerning development and infrastructure in the region. The Chief Minister gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that their concerns would be considered sympathetically and addressed in a phased manner.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to promoting sustainable tourism in rural and unexplored areas, CM Sukhu said, “The Baga-Sarahan region has immense tourism potential. By developing this area, we aim not only to attract visitors but also to open up avenues of direct and indirect employment for local residents, especially the youth.”

Also present in the deputation were Chairman of APMC Kullu Ram Singh Mian, as well as Gram Panchayat Pradhans from the Nirmand and Ani areas.
