National Pencak Silat Referee-Jury Course and Technical Coaching Camp Concludes Successfully in Srinagar.

A five-day National Pencak Silat Referee-Jury Course and National Coach Technical Training Camp concluded successfully at the Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium in Srinagar, Kashmir. The high-level training programme was organized by the Indian Pencak Silat Federation with the participation of coaches, referees, and technical officials from across the country.
Giving information about the event, Jogindar Singh Azad, President of the Pencak Silat Association Himachal Pradesh, stated that the camp played a significant role in strengthening technical expertise, officiating standards, and modern training methodologies in the sport of Pencak Silat.
The training sessions were conducted under the guidance of renowned international instructor Titih Hayati from Indonesia. During the camp, participants received advanced training in modern Pencak Silat techniques, referee-jury systems, updated competition rules, and newly implemented international standards.
Representing Himachal Pradesh, Jogindar Singh Azad, Rakesh Kumar, Daivagya Awasthi, and Rohan actively participated in the programme and successfully completed the technical training sessions.
The prestigious camp witnessed the participation of nearly 250 coaches, referees, and technical delegates from different states of the country. Experts and senior officials provided in-depth knowledge about technical discipline, competitive strategies, and the finer aspects of the sport, making the camp highly beneficial for all attendees.
The event proved to be an important step toward promoting professionalism, technical efficiency, and internationally aligned refereeing systems in Indian Pencak Silat. Coaches and technical representatives from various states appreciated the initiative and actively contributed to the success of the programme.
