NTA Revises CUET-UG 2026 Schedule; Exams to Be Held on May 31, June 6 and 7.

New Delhi:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a revised schedule for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2026 after examinations slated for May 28 were postponed due to Eid-ul-Azha.

According to an official notification issued by the NTA, the rescheduled examinations will now be conducted on May 31, June 6, and June 7 across various examination centres in the country.

The agency has also released admit cards for candidates who are scheduled to appear in the examination on May 31. Students can download their hall tickets from the official CUET website.

The revised dates were announced to ensure that candidates do not face inconvenience due to the festival celebrations. Thousands of students across India are appearing for CUET-UG 2026, which serves as a common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programmes in central universities and several other participating institutions.

Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official website for further updates regarding examination city slips, admit cards, reporting time, and examination guidelines.

The NTA stated that all other instructions mentioned in the admit cards and examination guidelines must be followed strictly by candidates at the examination centres.

CUET-UG has become one of the country’s largest entrance examinations for higher education admissions, with lakhs of students competing for seats in prestigious universities every year.

Students appearing for the revised examinations are advised to reach their centres well before the reporting time and carry all necessary documents, including their admit card and valid identity proof.

The official website for downloading admit cards and checking updates is: cuet.nta.nic.in.
