CM dedicates development projects worth Rs. 34.46 crore in Arki.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of seven development projects worth a total of Rs. 34.46 crore during his one-day visit to the Arki Assembly constituency of Solan district.
The projects, aimed at strengthening healthcare, education, road connectivity, transport, agricultural marketing and power infrastructure, are expected to provide improved public services and greater convenience to residents of the constituency.
The Chief Minister inaugurated four completed projects during the visit. These included the Primary Health Centre building at Saryanj, constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.50 crore; the playground of Government Senior Secondary School, Chandi, developed at a cost of Rs. 1.02 crore; the Fruits and Vegetable Sub-Yard at Kunihar, constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.81 crore; and the ISBT Bus Stand at Darlaghat, constructed at a cost of Rs. 10.17 crore.
He also laid the foundation stones for three major projects. These comprise the 33/11 KV, 315 MVA GIS Electric Sub-Station at Gyana (Mangu), to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 10.39 crore; the Danoghat-Sahjada-Neri Plata road link, costing Rs. 7.09 crore; and an ambulance road from Sintighat to Baandhar, with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.38 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said the projects would immensely benefit the people of the area and strengthen essential infrastructure and public services in the constituency.
Highlighting the importance of the Fruits and Vegetable Sub-Yard at Kunihar, the Chief Minister said the facility would benefit farmers from around 25 to 30 gram panchayats in the area. He said the sub-yard would provide farmers with better marketing opportunities for their agricultural and horticultural produce and help them secure more remunerative prices. The facility would also contribute to strengthening the local economy and supporting farming communities.
On the power infrastructure project, Sukhu said the 33/11 KV, 315 MVA GIS Electric Sub-Station at Gyana (Mangu) would help address the problem of low voltage in the area and ensure a more reliable and quality power supply. He said the sub-station would benefit residents of around 10 gram panchayats.
The Chief Minister said the government was committed to improving basic infrastructure and ensuring that development benefits reached people in different parts of the state.
Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthy expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for dedicating and initiating development projects worth Rs. 34.46 crore in the constituency. He said the projects would significantly benefit local residents and contribute to the overall progress and development of the area.
