Seven Tamil Nadu Fishermen’s Bodies Recovered, Search Continues for Two Missing Men.
Chennai:
The bodies of seven Tamil Nadu fishermen who went missing after their boat submerged off the Andhra Pradesh coast have been recovered, while search operations are continuing for the remaining two, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) said on Saturday.

According to the Coast Guard, sustained and continuous search efforts led to the sighting of the green hull of the submerged fishing boat, Sri Sengalamman, on November 5. The boat had gone missing with nine fishermen on board.
An Indian Coast Guard ship operating in the area spotted two bodies in the vicinity of the submerged vessel. The crew subsequently recovered both bodies from the sea.
Meanwhile, authorities at Kothapatnam in Andhra Pradesh reported that five more bodies had been sighted and washed ashore on the same day. With these recoveries, the total number of fishermen found dead has reached seven.

The Coast Guard said search operations remain underway to trace the two fishermen who are still missing. The teams are continuing their efforts in the area to locate them.
The incident has left families and local fishing communities in Tamil Nadu deeply concerned as they await further information about the missing fishermen.
