CM Sukhu Presides Over Final Cultural Night of International Kullu Dussehra 2024.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu graced the closing cultural evening of the International Kullu Dussehra 2024 as the chief guest on Friday night, celebrating the festival’s growing international significance.

During the event, the Chief Minister commended the fair’s evolution, noting the successful Ambassador Meet organized this year, and praised Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Singh Thakur and MLA Bhuvneshwar Gaur for their efforts in enhancing the event’s global appeal.

The highlight of the night was a performance by playback singer Neeraj Shridhar, alongside captivating acts from artists from Uzbekistan. A culturally rich fusion performance also received widespread acclaim from the audience.

Sukhu participated in the traditional Kullu folk dance ‘Lalri’, performing ritualistic prayers before joining the dance. He emphasized the importance of preserving Himachal Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage, stating, “It is our collective responsibility to uphold the divine culture of our land.”

In attendance were several dignitaries, including District Congress President Ses Ram Azad and Vice Chairman of HPSIDC Vishal Chambial, among others, who celebrated the vibrant cultural spirit of the region.
