Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has earned a place in The Indian Express‘ prestigious list of India’s 100 most powerful personalities. The list, which acknowledges influential figures across various sectors, recognized Sukhu for his significant contributions to social service, green energy initiatives, and overall governance.
Sukhu’s recognition highlights several key achievements during his tenure as Chief Minister. One of the most notable is the launch of the Mukhyamantri Sukh-Aashray Yojana, an initiative aimed at providing orphaned children with the status of ‘Children of the State,’ ensuring their welfare and protection.
