HPCC Intellectual Cell Chairman Criticizes Kangana Ranaut’s Political Engagement in Himachal.

Vijay Pal Singh, Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) Intellectual Cell, has taken a swipe at BJP Lok Sabha MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, raising concerns over her inconsistent presence in Himachal Pradesh and the nature of her public statements when she does visit.

Singh remarked that the people of Himachal should not blame Kangana for her prolonged absences, as her commitments in Bollywood often require her attention. However, he criticized the BJP MP for making “irresponsible and provocative” statements during her occasional visits, which he claims drag political discourse in the state to new lows.

He further added that such remarks place the BJP, a party that often brands itself as disciplined, on the backfoot, forcing it into damage control. “Fortunately, the peace-loving people of Himachal Pradesh have started ignoring her comments and no longer attach much importance to them,” Singh said.
